Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Predict, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the wisdom of the crowd and the incentive structure. Sportsbooks set odds to maximize profit, incorporating a margin, while prediction markets allow users to directly trade on their beliefs. This can lead to more accurate probabilities, as market participants are incentivized to express their true beliefs. However, sportsbook odds can be influenced by factors like public betting patterns and risk management, while this market reflects the collective intelligence of informed traders. The difference between the two can offer arbitrage opportunities.
Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Prices on Polymarket and Predict may diverge due to several factors, including differing user bases, trading volumes, and market-specific rules. Polymarket currently favors FC Internazionale Milano to score first at 56.5%, while Predict leans toward Feyenoord Rotterdam at 55.0%. These discrepancies can also arise from information asymmetries or differing interpretations of available data. Furthermore, the liquidity and depth of each market can influence price discovery and lead to temporary mispricings. This market will resolve around Nov 3, 2026.
This market resolves around Nov 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be determined by which team—Feyenoord Rotterdam or FC Internazionale Milano—scores the first goal in the match. The resolution will be based on official match data and will be independently verified to ensure accuracy. Traders should monitor official sources for confirmation of the final result and the official first goalscorer, as this will determine the settlement of this market.
