On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where participants buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe Feyenoord Rotterdam will score first, the higher the price of shares representing that outcome will climb, and vice versa for AZ. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the latest collective intelligence regarding the match.
This market resolves around Oct 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on which team officially scores the first goal in the Feyenoord vs. AZ match, as recorded by official match statistics. The platform will verify the result against these sources to determine the winning outcome and distribute payouts accordingly. It’s important to note that any potential delays in official reporting may impact the exact resolution time, but the process will be completed as swiftly as possible.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the probabilities in this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Feyenoord Rotterdam or AZ would likely have a significant impact. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather conditions on match day could all contribute to shifts in market sentiment. Furthermore, any significant public endorsements or analysis predicting a specific outcome could also drive trading volume and influence the price of shares in this market.
