This prediction market asks for the exact final score of a UEFA Europa League match between Ferencvárosi TC and SC União Torreense, played to the end of regulation time plus stoppage time. Any outcome not explicitly listed will resolve to 'Any Other Score', and a postponed or cancelled match has specific resolution rules.
In the upcoming UEFA Europa League game between Ferencvárosi TC and SC União Torreense, scheduled for October 22, 2026 at 12:45 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Ferencvárosi TC vs. SC União Torreense match originally scheduled for October 22, 2026 at 12:45 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds, like those found for this market, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the underlying mechanisms of price discovery. Sportsbooks set odds based on expert analysis and incorporate a profit margin, while prediction markets rely on the wisdom of the crowd. This means that prediction markets can sometimes offer more accurate probabilities, especially when a large and diverse group of participants are involved. Furthermore, prediction markets allow traders to hedge their bets and express nuanced opinions, leading to more dynamic and potentially insightful pricing compared to fixed-odds sportsbooks. This market's volume of $17,529 suggests active trading and evolving sentiment.
Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Price discrepancies between Polymarket and Predict on this market can arise from several factors. Each platform has a different user base, trading volume, and liquidity, which can influence price formation. Additionally, the specific mechanisms for trading and order execution may vary between the two platforms. For example, Polymarket might attract more sophisticated traders with access to advanced analytical tools, while Predict could have a larger base of casual participants. These differences in user behavior and platform features can lead to divergent price signals, even for the same underlying event.
Several factors could influence the trading activity and price movement in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, team formations, or changes in coaching staff for either Ferencváros or Torreense could significantly shift expectations. Unexpected weather conditions at the match venue could also play a role. Furthermore, major upsets in other related matches or broader football news could influence overall sentiment and trading volume. Monitoring these signals will be key to understanding potential shifts in the probabilities reflected by this market.
