Opinion
In the upcoming VCT best-of-series match scheduled for 2026-10-22 18:00 UTC: if MIBR GC wins the series, the market will resolve to "MIBR GC"; if FENNEL Female wins the series, the market will resolve to "FENNEL Female". The series winner is the first team to win a majority of games. Individual games remade due to technical issues do not count as wins toward the series. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. In cases where a team's listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50. Resolution Source: official VCT broadcast and https://valorantesports.com/; community coverage on vlr.gg may be used as a supplementary source. Note: Opinion will resolve strictly based on the first officially published result from the designated source. Any subsequent revisions will not affect this resolution.

Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. This market, being driven by the collective wisdom of traders, tends to reflect the true probabilities as perceived by participants. However, discrepancies can occur due to differing information, biases, or simply variations in opinion. It's common to see prediction markets move independently of sportsbook lines, especially as new information emerges.
This market resolves around Oct 22, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will be determined by the official outcome of the FENNEL Female versus MIBR GC CS2 match. Any official results or announcements from the governing bodies of the competition will be used to verify the winner, and settle this market accordingly. Traders should monitor official sources for updates as the resolution date approaches.
Several factors could influence the odds in this market. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or unexpected roster changes for either FENNEL Female or MIBR GC could significantly shift trader sentiment. Major tournament results leading up to the match, or even commentary from respected CS2 analysts, could also cause fluctuations. Additionally, large trading volume from informed participants could signal a shift in expectations, potentially moving this market considerably before Oct 22, 2026.
