Prediction market odds in this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect crowd-sourced probabilities rather than bookmaker adjustments. Traders buy and sell contracts at prices that directly imply their belief about the likelihood of each exact score. This can lead to sharper or more volatile pricing, especially for less common outcomes, compared to sportsbook odds which typically focus on broader markets like match winner or over/under totals.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders collectively set the price for each possible exact score through buying and selling shares. The current chance implied by each outcome’s price is determined by supply and demand dynamics alone, without external adjustments. For instance, the most likely score shown has a probability near 14.0%, reflecting the aggregate wisdom of participants on that venue.
This market resolves around Aug 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact final score reported by reputable sports news sources will determine which contracts pay out, settling all positions based on the officially recorded result.
Injuries to key players, tactical changes by coaches, or shifting weather conditions could all move this market as they affect the perceived likelihood of various scorelines. Additionally, any major swings in team form or momentum leading up to the match can cause traders to reassess probabilities, pushing prices toward outcomes that seem more probable given the latest context.
