On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. The price of each share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market price adjusts dynamically based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective wisdom of the crowd. Higher demand for shares in a specific outcome will drive up its price, indicating increased confidence in that result, while increased selling pressure will lower the price.
This market resolves around Oct 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result of the second half of the FC Vaduz vs. FC Basel match will be used to determine the winning share(s). Resolution will depend on official match data, and the outcome will be determined by which result occurred during the second half of the game. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the resolution is finalized on Polymarket.
Several signals could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or tactical adjustments could shift expectations and impact trading activity. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also play a role, potentially favoring one team over the other. Furthermore, in-game events during the first half, such as early goals or red cards, could significantly alter the perceived probabilities and lead to substantial price movements in this market. Monitoring these factors will be key to understanding how the market evolves.
