Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market is driven purely by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. It’s common to see differences, particularly in less liquid markets or when significant information asymmetry exists. Comparing the odds can highlight discrepancies and potentially reveal undervalued or overvalued outcomes.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous double auction, similar to a stock exchange. Traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible exact score, and the price of each contract reflects the market’s implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price moves based on supply and demand; if many traders believe a particular score is likely, the price of that contract will increase, and vice-versa. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust probabilities in real-time.
This market resolves around Oct 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official score of the FC Universitario versus CD San Antonio Bulo Bulo match will be used to determine the winning contract. Any delays in official reporting may affect the resolution time, but the platform will strive for a timely and accurate settlement based on the established result. Traders should monitor official sources for the confirmed score.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either team would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they favor one team’s playing style, could also shift the odds. Additionally, any unexpected tactical announcements from the coaches or shifts in public sentiment based on pre-match analysis could contribute to price fluctuations. Monitoring these signals could provide opportunities for informed trading decisions.
