Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven by individuals trading on their own information and analysis. Discrepancies can arise from differing opinions on team form, player availability, or even subtle factors not fully captured by sportsbook algorithms. Comparing the two can reveal where the market believes there’s value, or where sportsbooks may be over- or under-estimating the probability of certain outcomes.
