On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of its shares will climb. This dynamic pricing reflects the aggregated wisdom of the crowd and provides a forward-looking assessment of the event’s potential results.
This market resolves around Oct 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the result of the second half is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on which team wins the second half, or if the second half ends in a draw. The official result, as reported by the governing football authority, will be used to determine the winning outcome in this market. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final result.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding team form, injuries to key players on either Spartak Trnava or Slovan Bratislava, or changes in tactical approaches could all shift trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions on match day, or even significant pre-match commentary from football analysts, could also impact the market. A late surge in betting activity on Polymarket driven by new information or a change in public opinion could also cause noticeable price movements.
