Frequently asked questions

Currently, prediction market odds often differ from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically set odds to reflect public perception and build in a profit margin, whereas this market reflects the collective wisdom of informed traders. Discrepancies can arise due to differing levels of information or varying interpretations of the same information. If a significant difference exists, it may present an opportunity for arbitrage, where traders can profit by simultaneously betting on both platforms. However, it’s important to remember that prediction market odds are dynamic and can change rapidly.

The platform will verify the result against official sources to determine which outcome – a win for Sochaux, a win for Boulogne, or a draw – will be declared the winner of this market. Several signals could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or tactical changes could significantly shift expectations. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also play a role, potentially favoring one team over the other. Furthermore, in-match events, like early goals or red cards, could rapidly alter the perceived probabilities. Finally, any significant shifts in public sentiment or expert analysis regarding the teams' form could also contribute to price movements in this market.
