Prediction market odds, like those found in this market, often reflect a more nuanced and aggregated view than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines to balance their risk, incorporating a margin for profit, while prediction markets are driven by traders directly incentivized to predict correctly. This can lead to differences in probabilities, particularly as new information emerges. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on team statistics and expert opinions, this market incorporates real-time sentiment and collective intelligence as traders buy and sell predictions. This often results in more accurate forecasts, especially closer to the event.

Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract.
