PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All platforms utilize the same core resolution logic, relying on official match statistics with clearly defined fallback procedures and handling of postponements/cancellations.Primary resolution logic: Official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers (UEFA).

Core resolution logic:

  • Resolution is based on the outcome within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time.
  • If the game is postponed, the market remains open until the game is completed.
  • If the game is canceled entirely with no make-up game, win markets resolve 'No' and the draw market resolves 'Yes'.
  • Fallback sources are used if official data is unavailable within 2 hours: Flashscore, Sofascore, then consensus reporting.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Data Delay: If official statistics are not published within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, the order of precedence for data sources is Flashscore, then Sofascore, then a consensus of credible reporting. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours, markets will resolve 50-50 or to 'Draw' where applicable.
  • Match Abandonment: If a match is abandoned before the 90-minute mark, the market will resolve based on the official final result recognized by the governing body or event organizers. If no official result is recognized and no make-up match is scheduled, win markets resolve 'No' and the draw market resolves 'Yes'.
Timing: Resolution will occur as soon as official match statistics are available, or within 24 hours of the event's conclusion if fallback sources are required. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Prediction market odds, like those found on this market, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the differing incentives and information sources of participants. Sportsbooks primarily aim to set lines that balance betting action and incorporate a profit margin, while prediction markets rely on the wisdom of the crowd.
