Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market’s probabilities are driven by traders directly expressing their beliefs about the likelihood of each exact score. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities might arise, where traders can profit by simultaneously betting on Polymarket and a sportsbook. However, it's important to note that sportsbooks also incorporate factors like house edges and perceived public biases, which may contribute to differences in odds.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each exact score. As more shares are purchased for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher perceived likelihood. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds continuously adapt to new information and changing sentiment among traders. The current volume indicates the level of interest and conviction behind each possible result.
This market resolves around Nov 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
