If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds can offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while Polymarket allows traders to directly assess probabilities. This can lead to discrepancies, with this market potentially offering more favorable odds depending on how traders weigh various factors. It’s common to see prediction markets reacting quickly to new information, potentially differing from the more static odds offered by sportsbooks, especially as kickoff approaches.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible exact score. The price of each share reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe a particular scoreline is likely, the higher the price of its corresponding shares will climb. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the collective wisdom of the crowd, constantly adjusting as new information becomes available.
This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the FC Midtjylland versus Lyngby BK match will be used to determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the governing football league, ensuring a transparent and verifiable process. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final, confirmed scoreline.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either FC Midtjylland or Lyngby BK would likely cause significant shifts in probabilities. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions leading up to the match could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected lineup announcements or late-breaking news about team morale could also move this market, as traders react to new information and reassess the likelihood of different scorelines.
