In the upcoming Japan J. League game between FC Machida Zelvia and Sanfrecce Hiroshima, scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 12:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the FC Machida Zelvia vs. Sanfrecce Hiroshima match originally scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 12:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market is driven by traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. If sportsbooks heavily favor one exact score, we might see a lower probability for that outcome here, or vice versa, depending on how traders assess the information. Discrepancies can arise from differing opinions on team form, injuries, or even subtle factors not fully captured by sportsbook algorithms. It's a useful comparison to see where the collective intelligence diverges.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each exact score. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and the implied probability rises. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price and probability. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date collective forecast for the Machida Zelvia vs. Hiroshima match.
This market resolves around Nov 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Machida Zelvia vs. Sanfrecce Hiroshima match, specifically the exact scoreline, will determine the winning outcome. Any delays in official reporting may impact the resolution timeline, but the focus remains on establishing the definitive result as recorded by official sources. Traders should monitor official channels for updates as the match progresses and following its conclusion.
Several factors could significantly shift the probabilities in this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Machida Zelvia or Sanfrecce Hiroshima would likely cause movement. Changes in team form, based on recent match results, could also influence trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also play a role, potentially favoring one team's style of play over another. Finally, any significant tactical announcements from either manager could lead to adjustments in the perceived likelihood of different exact scores.
