Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market’s pricing is driven purely by traders expressing their beliefs about the most likely outcome. It’s common to see prediction markets more accurately forecast probabilities, especially as the event approaches and more information becomes available. However, sportsbook odds can still provide a useful benchmark for comparison, and discrepancies may present arbitrage opportunities for informed traders.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect new information and changing opinions. The market’s depth – the number of shares available at different price points – indicates the level of confidence in each potential outcome. This dynamic pricing allows for a real-time assessment of the likely result.
This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the FC Juárez vs. Querétaro FC match is verifiable from credible public reporting. Several factors could influence the pricing of this market before resolution.
