Description

This prediction market asks users to forecast which team, Inter Milan or Fiorentina, will win the second half of a Serie A soccer match, or if the second half will end in a draw. The resolution is based on goals scored during the second half of regular play plus stoppage time.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Predict utilize identical resolution criteria, focusing on second-half goals and a clearly defined source hierarchy.Primary resolution logic: Official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers.

Core resolution logic:

  • The team scoring more goals in the second half (including stoppage time) wins.
  • If both teams score the same number of goals in the second half, the market resolves to 'Draw'.
  • If the game is canceled with no makeup game, the market resolves to 'Draw'.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Postponement: If the game is postponed, the market remains open until the game is completed.
  • Data Availability: If official statistics are unavailable within 2 hours, Flashscore is used. If Flashscore is unavailable, Sofascore is used. If neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting is used. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours, the market resolves 50-50 or to 'Draw' where applicable.
Timing: Resolution occurs once the second half of regular play, including any added stoppage time, has concluded and the result can be definitively determined by the primary or fallback resolution sources. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Predict, often reflect a more diverse range of information and incentives than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks primarily focus on setting lines to balance betting action and incorporate a profit margin, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of many individuals who have a financial stake in the accuracy of their predictions. This can lead to prediction market prices being more efficient and potentially more accurate, especially when significant information isn't widely known. However, sportsbook odds are readily accessible and offer a convenient comparison point for this market.
