Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores, and the price of each share reflects the market’s implied probability of that score occurring. As more shares are traded, the price adjusts to find an equilibrium point where buyers and sellers agree. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market is driven entirely by supply and demand, meaning the price is determined by the collective predictions of all participants. This dynamic pricing ensures the market remains responsive to new information and changing expectations.

Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in formation could significantly shift expectations. Unexpected weather conditions on match day might also play a role, potentially favoring one team over another. Furthermore, public sentiment and media coverage can impact trading volume and price movements. A strong performance by either team in a preceding match, or even pre-game analysis from respected football commentators, could all contribute to shifts in the odds on Polymarket before Oct 10, 2026.
