The markets resolve based on the full-time result of the Famalicao vs Arouca professional Liga Portugal soccer match scheduled for November 6, 2026, considering only the outcome after 90 minutes plus stoppage time. A win for Famalicao resolves the 'Famalicao' market to Yes; a win for Arouca resolves the 'Arouca' market to Yes; and a draw resolves the 'Tie' market to Yes. If no official final result is recognized and no make-up match is scheduled, this market will resolve "NO." Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Prediction market odds, like those found for this market, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the differing incentives and information sources. Sportsbooks set odds to maximize profit, incorporating a margin for themselves, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of many individuals. This can lead to more accurate probabilities, especially as more information becomes available. Furthermore, prediction markets allow participants to hedge their bets and express nuanced opinions, something not always possible with standard sportsbook wagers. The current volume of $5 suggests a growing interest in this alternative method of forecasting the outcome of the Famalicão vs. Arouca match.
Prices on Polymarket and Kalshi for this market can diverge due to several factors.
