Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their lines based on their own models and risk management, while this market is driven by individuals putting their capital at risk. It's common to see discrepancies between the two, particularly before significant events or when there's a lot of uncertainty surrounding the outcome. These differences can be due to varying levels of information, differing interpretations of data, or simply the influence of public sentiment.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome of the second half. The price of these shares directly reflects the implied probability of each result. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the price adjusts accordingly, providing a dynamic assessment of the potential outcome. The current price indicates what traders collectively believe is the likelihood of a specific result happening during the second half of the match.

This market resolves around Oct 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will be based on which team scores more goals in the second half of the FC CSKA 1948 versus PFC CSKA Sofia match, or if the second half ends in a draw. The official match result, as reported by a trusted sports data provider, will be used to determine the winning outcome for this market. Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in starting lineups would likely have a significant impact. Unexpected weather conditions or even pre-match commentary from analysts could also sway trader sentiment. Furthermore, in-game events during the first half of the match, such as early goals or red cards, could dramatically alter the perceived probabilities and lead to substantial price movements in this market. Public perception and betting trends will also play a role.
