In the upcoming MLS game between FC Cincinnati and Columbus Crew, scheduled for October 18, 2026 at 5:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the FC Cincinnati vs. Columbus Crew match originally scheduled for October 18, 2026 at 5:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds tend to be more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, especially closer to the event date. This is because prediction markets aggregate the wisdom of the crowd, incentivizing participants to make well-informed predictions. Sportsbooks, while employing skilled oddsmakers, may be influenced by factors like public perception or promotional considerations. However, initial odds on Predict may differ from those found at sportsbooks, reflecting different initial assessments of the likely outcome. It's useful to compare both to form a comprehensive view.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing different exact scores. The price of each contract reflects the market's collective belief about the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect new information and changing sentiment. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price indicates what traders are willing to pay for a share of the potential payout if their predicted exact score comes to fruition, and is a direct expression of collective forecasting.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the FC Cincinnati vs. Columbus Crew match – specifically, the exact final score – will determine the winning contract. Any delays in official reporting may affect the resolution timeline, but the process aims to align with the official match results as quickly as possible. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the outcome is definitively established.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Key player injuries or suspensions for either FC Cincinnati or the Columbus Crew would likely have a significant impact. Unexpected changes in weather conditions, such as heavy rain or extreme heat, could also alter the perceived probabilities. Furthermore, any major news regarding team tactics, coaching decisions, or player form could prompt traders to reassess their predictions. Even significant public sentiment shifts, reflected in media coverage or social media, could contribute to movement in this market.
