In the upcoming La Liga game between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid CF, scheduled for October 25, 2026 at 4:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the FC Barcelona vs. Real Madrid CF match originally scheduled for October 25, 2026 at 4:00 PM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market reflects the collective wisdom of traders. If a significant discrepancy exists between the odds on Polymarket and those offered by sportsbooks, it could indicate that traders believe the sportsbook is mispricing the probability of a particular outcome. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities as perceived by different groups, and neither is guaranteed to be correct.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of specific first-half exact scores. As more shares are purchased for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, with the total value of all shares summing to 1. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date collective forecast of traders.
This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score at the end of the first half of the FC Barcelona versus Real Madrid CF match will determine the winning outcome. The official match result, as reported by a recognized sports data provider, will be used to verify the final score and settle the market. Traders will be able to claim their winnings based on the outcome that corresponds to the actual first-half score.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either FC Barcelona or Real Madrid CF would likely cause significant shifts in the odds. Tactical announcements from either manager, such as confirmed starting lineups or changes in formation, could also impact trader sentiment. Even general news related to team morale or recent performance could play a role. Unexpected weather conditions on match day might also be considered by traders, potentially influencing their predictions.
