Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Differences in pricing between Polymarket and Predict can arise from several factors. Each platform has its own user base, trading dynamics, and risk assessments, leading to varying levels of conviction behind each potential outcome. Furthermore, the volume traded on each platform – currently $0 overall – isn’t necessarily distributed evenly, which can amplify price discrepancies. Different market makers and arbitrageurs may also be active on each platform, contributing to price divergence. These factors combine to create potentially different probabilities for the Bayern München vs. Augsburg second half on each venue.
