Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, often incorporating information and analysis not readily available to traditional sportsbooks. While sportsbook odds are set by professional oddsmakers, this market’s pricing is driven by supply and demand among individuals wagering on the outcome. You may find that prediction market odds align with sportsbook odds when there is broad agreement, but diverge when traders believe the sportsbook has mispriced the probability of both teams scoring in the upcoming match. This difference can present potential arbitrage opportunities for informed traders.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether both FC Augsburg and SC Freiburg will score. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, with higher prices indicating a greater perceived probability of both teams scoring. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders are constantly adjusting their positions, leading to dynamic price movements that reflect new information and changing sentiment. The current implied probability, as reflected in the price, is a key indicator for anyone considering trading in this market.

This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on whether both FC Augsburg and SC Freiburg score at least one goal during the match. Official match data will be used to determine if both teams have scored, and the result will be finalized shortly after the full-time whistle. Traders holding contracts representing the 'yes' outcome (both teams to score) will be paid out if this occurs, while those holding the 'no' outcome will forfeit their stake.

Several factors could influence the price of this market before Nov 1, 2026. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either FC Augsburg or SC Freiburg would likely have a significant impact. Changes in team form, tactical approaches, or even weather conditions could also shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about starting lineups, or any controversies surrounding the match, could also lead to price fluctuations. Monitoring these signals and assessing their potential impact on the likelihood of both teams scoring is crucial for traders looking to capitalize on market movements.
