Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to freely express their beliefs about the probability of each exact score. If a significant number of traders believe a particular outcome is more likely than implied by sportsbook odds, the price will adjust accordingly. This can lead to prediction market odds being more accurate, particularly as the event approaches and more information becomes available. It's common to see discrepancies, especially early on, as the market aggregates diverse perspectives.
