If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market incorporates the insights of many individual traders. It’s common to see discrepancies between the two, especially before significant events or when new information emerges. Examining these differences can reveal where the crowd believes sportsbooks may be over or underestimating certain outcomes.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact score outcomes. The price of each share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the evolving consensus. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more shares purchased for a particular score, the higher its price rises, and vice versa, creating a dynamic and responsive market for predicting the final result.
This market resolves around Oct 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in coaching staff, or unexpected player suspensions would likely cause shifts in probabilities. Furthermore, pre-match analysis from football experts, weather forecasts, and even public sentiment expressed on social media can all impact trader behavior. A significant upset in a related match or a change in betting patterns at traditional sportsbooks could also lead to movement in this market as traders react to new information.
