This prediction market asks which tight end will score the most fantasy points in Week 8 of the 2026-27 NFL season using standard PPR scoring. The markets rely on official NFL statistics as reported by ESPN Fantasy Sports to determine the winner.
This market will resolve to the tight end that finishes Week 8 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season as the highest-scoring TE under standard PPR (points-per-reception) scoring per the default scoring of ESPN Fantasy Sports. Only games designated by the NFL as Week 8 of the 2026-27 regular season count. If two or more players are tied for the most fantasy points in Week 8, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player whose last name comes first alphabetically. If the highest-scoring TE in Week 8 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is not a listed player, this market will resolve to "Other". If Week 8 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed past November 18, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a leader cannot be determined within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official Week 8 statistics as reported by ESPN Fantasy Sports (https://www.espn.com/fantasy/).
Each market resolves to 'Yes' only if the specified player achieves the highest total full-PPR fantasy points among all tight ends for Week 8 of the 2026 NFL regular season, as calculated by Sleeper. Points include receiving yards (0.1 per yard), receptions (1 per reception), touchdowns (6 per touchdown), and additional contributions from rushing, kicking, and defensive performances. Players not participating that week score zero. If multiple players tie for the highest score, the market resolves to a fractional value of 1 divided by the number of tied players, with no holder receiving the full $1 prize unless they are the sole leader.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Prices on Polymarket and Kalshi can diverge for several reasons. Each platform attracts a different user base with varying levels of expertise and information. Trading volume also plays a role; higher volume on one platform can lead to more efficient price discovery. Additionally, the specific market design and available trading features on each platform can influence prices. For example, different fee structures or liquidity provisions could create discrepancies. These factors contribute to the dynamic pricing observed in this market, offering opportunities for arbitrage and informed trading.
Several factors could significantly impact the price of this market. Injuries to key tight ends, changes in team offensive schemes, or even unexpected trades could all shift the probabilities. Performance in the weeks leading up to Week 8 will also be a major driver, as traders react to recent form. News regarding player health, such as practice reports and injury designations, will be closely monitored. Any developments that alter the perceived likelihood of a particular tight end leading in Week 8 fantasy points will likely cause movement in this market.
