This prediction group asks which NFL quarterback will score the most fantasy points in Week 8 of the 2026-27 NFL season, using ESPN's default fantasy scoring. Multiple markets exist across Polymarket and Kalshi, each offering predictions on individual players.
This market will resolve to the quarterback that finishes Week 8 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season as the highest-scoring QB under the default scoring of ESPN Fantasy Sports. Only games designated by the NFL as Week 8 of the 2026-27 regular season count. If two or more players are tied for the most fantasy points in Week 8, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player whose last name comes first alphabetically. If the highest-scoring QB in Week 8 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is not a listed player, this market will resolve to "Other". If Week 8 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed past November 18, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a leader cannot be determined within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official Week 8 statistics as reported by ESPN Fantasy Sports (https://www.espn.com/fantasy/).
Each market resolves based on whether the named quarterback achieves the highest total full-PPR fantasy points for all quarterbacks during Week 8 of the 2026 NFL regular season, as calculated by Sleeper's scoring system. Points include passing yards (0.04 per yard), passing touchdowns (4 points), interceptions (-1), rushing/receiving yards (0.1 per yard), rushing/receiving touchdowns (6 points), and select special teams contributions. If the quarterback does not play, they score zero. Ties result in a proportional payout (1/N for N tied players), with no holder receiving $1 minus the Yes payout. All markets share identical scoring and resolution mechanics.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Prices on Polymarket and Kalshi for this market can diverge due to several factors. These platforms have different user bases, trading volumes, and liquidity, all of which influence price discovery. Additionally, the specific incentives and trading interfaces on each platform can lead to varying opinions and market behavior. For example, Polymarket might attract more casual fantasy football enthusiasts, while Kalshi could draw more sophisticated prediction market traders. These differences in participation and trading strategies contribute to the price discrepancies observed in this market.
This market resolves around Nov 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The quarterback with the highest fantasy point total in Week 8 of the 2026-27 NFL season, based on standard scoring rules, will be considered the winner. Official NFL statistics and widely-recognized fantasy football data providers will be used to verify the results, ensuring an objective determination of the highest-scoring player.
Numerous factors could influence the probabilities in this market. Preseason performance, training camp reports, and any injuries to key quarterbacks will be closely watched. Changes in team offensive schemes or the acquisition of new receivers could also shift expectations. As the NFL season progresses, Week-to-Week performance, matchups against different defenses, and even weather conditions will play a significant role. Unexpected news, such as a starting quarterback being traded or a key player being ruled out for a game, could cause substantial price movements.
