This prediction market asks participants to forecast which wide receiver will score the most fantasy points in Week 6 of the 2026-27 NFL season, using a standard PPR (points per reception) scoring format as defined by ESPN Fantasy Sports. The markets allow for betting on a large number of individual players, as well as an 'Other' option.
This market will resolve to the wide receiver that finishes Week 6 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season as the highest-scoring WR under standard PPR (points-per-reception) scoring per the default scoring of ESPN Fantasy Sports. Only games designated by the NFL as Week 6 of the 2026-27 regular season count. If two or more players are tied for the most fantasy points in Week 6, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player whose last name comes first alphabetically. If the highest-scoring WR in Week 6 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is not a listed player, this market will resolve to "Other". If Week 6 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed past November 4, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a leader cannot be determined within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official Week 6 statistics as reported by ESPN Fantasy Sports (https://www.espn.com/fantasy/).
Each market assesses whether a specified wide receiver achieves the highest total full-PPR fantasy points for all wide receivers in Week 6 of the 2026 NFL regular season. Points are calculated using Sleeper's default full-PPR scoring system, which awards credits for receptions, receiving yards, touchdowns, and various other in-game achievements as detailed in the scoring format. If the designated player finishes with the most points, the market resolves to 'Yes.' If multiple players tie for the highest score, the payout is divided equally among all tied players (e.g., if three players tie, each receives one-third of the potential payout). Players who do not participate in the week are automatically scored zero. All rankings and eligibility determinations are made by Sleeper at the time of market expiration. The event uses consistent scoring rules across all markets, with no variations between individual player markets.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Price discrepancies between Polymarket and Kalshi on this market can arise from several factors. Different user bases on each platform may have varying levels of expertise or access to information regarding player performance and injury reports. Trading volume can also influence prices; a larger volume on one platform might indicate stronger conviction in a particular outcome. Furthermore, the specific mechanisms for price discovery—how traders set the odds by buying and selling—can differ slightly between Polymarket and Kalshi, leading to temporary divergences in the perceived probability of each player being the Week 6 WR points leader.
Numerous signals could significantly impact this market. Player injuries are a major catalyst, with the potential absence of a key wide receiver dramatically shifting probabilities. Changes in team dynamics, such as quarterback performance or offensive scheme adjustments, could also influence expectations. Pre-season performance and training camp reports will provide early indicators, while in-season matchups and defensive vulnerabilities will become increasingly important as Week 6 approaches. Unexpected trades or free agent signings could also introduce new variables, causing traders to reassess their positions in this market.
