This prediction market asks which tight end will score the most fantasy points in Week 6 of the 2026-27 NFL season using standard PPR scoring. The markets on Polymarket and Kalshi offer questions for a wide range of players, and resolve to the player with the highest point total, with a tiebreaker based on last name.
This market will resolve to the tight end that finishes Week 6 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season as the highest-scoring TE under standard PPR (points-per-reception) scoring per the default scoring of ESPN Fantasy Sports. Only games designated by the NFL as Week 6 of the 2026-27 regular season count. If two or more players are tied for the most fantasy points in Week 6, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player whose last name comes first alphabetically. If the highest-scoring TE in Week 6 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is not a listed player, this market will resolve to "Other". If Week 6 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed past November 4, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a leader cannot be determined within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official Week 6 statistics as reported by ESPN Fantasy Sports (https://www.espn.com/fantasy/).
Each market assesses whether a specified tight end accumulates the highest total full-PPR fantasy points for all eligible tight ends during Week 6 of the 2026 NFL regular season, with resolution based on Sleeper's scoring system. Points are awarded for passing, rushing, receiving, kicking, defensive/special teams performances, and individual player special teams/fumbles, with specific values assigned to yards, touchdowns, interceptions, and other statistical categories. If a player does not participate in the week, they receive zero points. In the event of a tie for the highest points among qualifying players, the market resolves to a fractional value (1/N, where N is the number of tied players), and no holder receives the full $1 payout; instead, each receives $1 minus the 'Yes' payout divided by N. All markets share identical secondary rules regarding point calculation, player eligibility determination by Sleeper, and tie resolution methodology.
Prediction market odds, like those found in this market, often reflect a different kind of information than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks primarily consider factors like team statistics and player performance, while prediction markets aggregate the wisdom of the crowd. This means that the odds here can incorporate insights that sportsbooks might miss, such as inside information or subtle shifts in player health. While both aim to predict the same outcome, the mechanisms and information sources differ, potentially leading to discrepancies in the perceived probability of each player leading in TE points. It’s common to see differences in implied probability between this market and traditional sports betting.
