On Polymarket, this market is priced using a continuous double auction, meaning traders can buy and sell shares representing their belief in each team’s likelihood of winning the D/ST points race. The price of each share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular team, the price increases, reflecting growing confidence. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price, indicating decreasing confidence. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures that the market odds continuously adapt to new information and trader sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the official NFL results for Week 6 of the 2026-27 season are available and verifiable from credible public reporting. The official NFL statistics will serve as the definitive source for determining the winning team and settling this market.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Major injuries to key defensive players on any team would likely shift the odds, as would changes in coaching strategies or unexpected team performance in the weeks leading up to Week 6. News regarding favorable or unfavorable matchups against opposing offenses could also cause price fluctuations. Additionally, any significant updates on weather forecasts for Week 6 games could influence expectations and trading activity, as weather conditions can heavily impact defensive and special teams performance.
