On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each tight end’s likelihood of being the Week 5 points leader. As more shares are purchased for a particular player, their price increases, indicating a higher implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share directly reflects the market’s consensus view, and the platform automatically adjusts prices based on supply and demand. This dynamic pricing ensures the market remains responsive to new information and changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the official NFL statistics for Week 5 of the 2026-27 season are finalized and the highest-scoring tight end in PPR format is verified against credible public reporting. The resolution will reflect the official fantasy points awarded by major fantasy football platforms. The market will settle to 100% probability for the tight end who achieves the highest score, and 0% for all others. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will receive a payout.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Player injuries are a major catalyst; news of a key tight end’s injury would likely shift probabilities. Pre-season performance and training camp reports can also influence trader sentiment. Changes in team offensive schemes or quarterback performance could affect a tight end’s projected targets and scoring opportunities. Even unexpected depth chart changes could move the market. Finally, any significant news related to player suspensions or trades could also cause shifts in the odds for this market.
