This market will resolve to "Göztepe SK" if Göztepe SK score more goals than Eyüpspor in the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Draw". Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set their lines based on models and public perception, often incorporating a profit margin. This market, however, is driven by traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome, potentially leading to more efficient pricing. While sportsbooks may initially have a stronger opinion, prediction markets can sometimes converge on a more accurate probability as more information becomes available and more traders participate. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before the event begins.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a growing belief in its likelihood. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price reflects the collective assessment of all participants, making it a dynamic and responsive indicator of expectations for the Eyüpspor vs. Göztepe second half. The total volume traded also provides insight into the market's confidence.
This market resolves around Oct 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on which team – Eyüpspor or Göztepe – wins the second half of the match, or if the second half ends in a draw. The official result, as reported by a recognized sports data provider, will be used to determine the winning outcome. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final result and their holdings in the market.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or tactical adjustments could shift expectations. Unexpected weather conditions during the match could also play a role, potentially favoring one team over the other. Furthermore, significant shifts in public sentiment, perhaps driven by expert analysis or social media discussions, could impact trading activity and, consequently, the market price. Real-time updates during the first half of the match will likely have the most significant effect on this market.
