Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and incorporate a profit margin, whereas this market’s prices are determined solely by traders’ willingness to buy or sell. If a significant number of bettors believe Everton is likely to win by two or more goals, the price will move in that direction, potentially offering better value than traditional sportsbooks. However, sportsbook odds may react to news or injuries more quickly than this market, especially with lower volume. It's important to compare both to make informed decisions.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell contracts representing the outcome, and the price fluctuates based on supply and demand. As more traders believe Everton will win by two or more goals, they will buy contracts, driving up the price. Conversely, if they believe it's unlikely, they will sell, lowering the price. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price reflects the collective probability assigned to this outcome by all participants on Limitless. The volume traded provides insight into the level of confidence and interest in this particular result.

This market resolves around Nov 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Everton vs Newcastle match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on whether Everton wins the match by a margin of two or more goals. Any official result published by a recognized sports data provider will serve as the basis for determining the winning outcome. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or adjust their positions based on the verified result. The platform will automatically settle all outstanding contracts.

Several factors could significantly impact the price of this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Everton or Newcastle would be a major catalyst. A change in team form, such as a surprising win or loss in a previous match, could also shift trader sentiment. Tactical changes announced by either manager, or even weather conditions on match day, could influence expectations. Unexpected news about team morale or internal conflicts could also play a role. Monitoring these signals will be crucial for anyone looking to trade this market effectively.
