Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, which represents their profit margin. This market, being driven by the collective wisdom of traders, tends to be more efficient and reflects the true probabilities as perceived by participants. However, sportsbook odds can still be useful as a reference point, especially when assessing potential value or discrepancies. It's important to consider that both sources have their own biases and limitations, and comparing them can lead to more informed decisions.
On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing the outcome of Everton winning by two or more goals. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective belief of traders about the likelihood of that outcome. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe Everton will win by at least two goals, the higher the price will climb, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly adapt to new information and changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Everton vs Coventry match, specifically whether Everton achieved a victory with a margin of two or more goals. The official match statistics will be used to determine the final result, and the outcome will be recorded on Limitless. Traders holding contracts predicting a win by two or more goals will be paid out accordingly.
