Prediction market odds, like those found on Predict and Limitless, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the wisdom of the crowd. Sportsbooks set lines based on models and internal analysis, while prediction markets reflect the collective intelligence of many individual traders. This market benefits from a diverse range of perspectives, potentially leading to more accurate probabilities, especially as the event approaches. However, sportsbook odds are often more readily available and may offer different types of wagers. The difference in odds can create arbitrage opportunities for informed traders, exploiting discrepancies between the two.
