In the upcoming match between Everton FC and Coventry City FC, scheduled for November 6, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET: This market will resolve to "Everton FC" if Everton FC are the first to score in the first half (first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time). This market will resolve to "Coventry City FC" if Coventry City FC are the first to score in the first half (first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time). If neither team scores in the first half (first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time), this market will resolve to "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time. Second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Premier League (https://www.premierleague.com/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often incorporating information and analysis not immediately captured by traditional sportsbooks. While sportsbooks set initial lines based on team statistics and expert opinions, this market allows anyone to trade on their beliefs, leading to odds that can diverge from sportsbook offerings. This divergence can occur due to differing interpretations of team news, injuries, or even subtle shifts in public perception. It's common to see prediction markets react more quickly to new information than sportsbooks, potentially offering value to informed traders.
This market resolves around Nov 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on which team, if any, scores the first goal in the first half of the Everton versus Coventry City match. If neither team manages to score during the first 45 minutes, the 'Neither team to score first in the 1st half' outcome will be considered the result. The outcome will be determined by official match data and verified by the platform.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any late-breaking news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Everton or Coventry would likely cause price fluctuations. A change in predicted weather conditions, potentially impacting the style of play, could also influence trading activity. Furthermore, any pre-match announcements about team formations or tactical approaches could shift market sentiment. Finally, major news events impacting team morale or public perception could also move the odds before Nov 6, 2026.
