In the upcoming Premier League game between Everton FC and Coventry City FC, scheduled for November 6, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the Everton FC vs. Coventry City FC match originally scheduled for November 6, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Premier League (https://www.premierleague.com/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while this market allows traders to directly assess probabilities. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by betting on both venues. However, it’s important to note that prediction market odds are driven by user predictions and may not always align perfectly with expert analysis or public polling data regarding the outcome of the first half.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different possible first half exact scores, and the price of each share reflects the market's collective belief about its probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by supply and demand; if many traders believe a specific score is likely, the price of shares representing that outcome will increase. Conversely, if sentiment shifts, the price will fall. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date information and predictions.
This market resolves around Nov 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the first half of the Everton vs. Coventry City FC match will be used to determine the winning share. The resolution will be based on official match data, and the shares corresponding to the correct exact score will pay out. It's important to monitor the official sources for the match result to understand when the market is officially settled.
Several factors could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Everton or Coventry City would likely cause significant price movement. Tactical changes announced by the managers, or even pre-match analysis suggesting a particular game plan, could also shift trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions on match day might also play a role. Finally, significant shifts in public opinion or expert predictions regarding the likely outcome of the first half could also move this market.
