Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and incorporate a profit margin, while this market is driven by individuals trading based on their own research and insights. If many people believe a particular outcome is more likely than a sportsbook suggests, the price will move accordingly. It's common to see discrepancies, especially before significant events or when new information emerges, as traders weigh the probabilities differently than bookmakers. This can create opportunities for arbitrage.

This market resolves around Oct 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the market will determine which team—ES Troyes AC or Olympique de Marseille—scores the first goal in the second half of the match. The result will be based on official match data and verified against reliable sports news sources. The platform will then finalize the outcome and distribute payouts to those who correctly predicted the first team to score in the second half.

Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either ES Troyes AC or Olympique de Marseille would likely have a significant impact. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions on match day could also shift trader sentiment. Unexpected lineup announcements or pre-match analysis highlighting a team's attacking prowess could also cause movement. Ultimately, any information that alters the perceived probability of either team scoring first in the second half will likely be reflected in the market price.
