Frequently asked questions

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of participants, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their lines based on models and internal analysis, while this market is driven by individuals willing to put their money behind their beliefs. It's common to see differences emerge, especially as new information becomes available or public sentiment shifts. Comparing the two can be a useful exercise for informed decision-making, but remember that each represents a distinct form of forecasting.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell predictions. The price fluctuates based on supply and demand; if more people believe Brighton will win, the price for that outcome will increase, and vice versa. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing mechanism aims to reflect the probability of each outcome as perceived by the crowd. The platform facilitates these trades, and the current price represents the market's aggregate forecast for the Liverpool vs Brighton match.

This market resolves around Oct 26, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the Liverpool vs Brighton match as reported by recognized sports authorities. The platform will verify the final scoreline and determine the winning outcome according to the established rules of the game. Traders holding winning predictions will then be able to claim their payouts based on the final market prices at resolution.

Several factors could influence this market before Oct 26, 2026. News regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Liverpool or Brighton would likely cause significant movement. Unexpected changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather conditions on match day could also impact the market.
