Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from those set by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks establish initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market allows anyone to trade on their beliefs, potentially leading to more accurate probabilities. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook has mispriced an outcome, the odds here will adjust accordingly. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts leading up to the event.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that outcome occurring. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by supply and demand; if more people want to buy a contract, the price increases, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust probabilities as the event approaches.

This market resolves around Oct 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the Hull City vs Everton match, as reported by a recognized sports data provider. The platform will verify the result against these sources to determine the winning outcome and settle all outstanding contracts. Traders should ensure they understand the timing of the event and the process for outcome verification.

Several signals could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding player injuries, team formations, or changes in coaching staff for either Hull City or Everton would likely cause price fluctuations. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also influence trading activity. Furthermore, public sentiment, reflected in news articles, social media discussions, and expert predictions, can all contribute to shifts in the market’s pricing. Major upsets in other related matches could also indirectly affect trader confidence and influence volume.
