This market refers to which team's player records the highest individual run total in the cricket match between Sri Lanka and England scheduled for October 29 2026 at 4:00 AM ET in England and Sri Lanka Tour of Pakistan ODIs. The outcome corresponding to Sri Lanka will be considered correct if the highest individual score in the match is recorded exclusively by a player from Sri Lanka. The outcome corresponding to England will be considered correct if the highest individual score is recorded exclusively by a player from England. If the highest individual score is shared by at least one player from each team, the market will resolve to Draw. The market will resolve according to which team's player records the highest individual run total regardless of if the match is not competed (e.g. Due to weather conditions). DLS/DRS adjustments and any other on-field rulings affecting batting statistics are treated as ordinary data. If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without official batting statistics being recorded, the market will resolve Draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and official statistics are available.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each player being the top batter. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular player, the price increases, reflecting growing confidence in their chances. Conversely, selling pressure drives the price down. The market dynamically adjusts to incorporate new information and changing sentiment, providing a real-time assessment of probabilities.
This market resolves around Nov 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which player scores the most runs across the entirety of the Sri Lanka vs England ODI series. Official match statistics will be used to determine the top batter, and the market will settle to 100% probability for the winning player. The outcome will be determined by the official tournament organizers and verified against credible public sources.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, or weather forecasts impacting playing conditions could cause shifts in probabilities. Strong performances by a player in early matches of the series will likely increase their share price, while poor form could lead to a decline. Unexpected announcements about pitch conditions or strategic changes could also move the market, as traders react to new information and reassess the likelihood of each player being the top batter.
