This market refers to the cricket match between Sri Lanka and England scheduled for October 29 2026 at 4:00 AM ET in England and Sri Lanka Tour of Pakistan ODIs. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust dynamically, providing a real-time assessment of the series' potential results. The current price movement suggests traders are closely monitoring team form and potential playing conditions.
This market resolves around Oct 29, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the result of the England vs Sri Lanka ODI series is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official series result, including all matches played. The platform will verify the outcome against publicly available sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders who correctly predicted the series winner will be rewarded based on the final market prices at resolution.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or changes in team lineups would likely cause price fluctuations. Unexpected weather forecasts for the match locations could also shift probabilities, as could major shifts in team form demonstrated in preceding matches. Public sentiment, as reflected in news articles and social media, can also influence trading activity. Finally, any significant developments related to the political or logistical aspects of the tour could introduce uncertainty and move the market.
