On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in whether Empoli or Palermo will score first. As more shares are traded for one outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of shares is determined by supply and demand; if many traders believe Palermo is likely to score first, the price of Palermo shares will rise, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust probabilities.
This market resolves around Oct 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which team scores the first goal in the Empoli vs. Palermo match. The official match records will serve as the definitive source for determining the winning outcome. Any potential disputes will be assessed based on the official game statistics and publicly available information. Traders should monitor official sources for the final result.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Empoli or Palermo would likely cause significant shifts in the odds. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions could also impact trader sentiment. Pre-match analysis from sports analysts and any unexpected announcements related to the game are also potential catalysts. Increased media coverage or public attention surrounding the match could also drive trading volume and price movements in this market.
