Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, but may also incorporate a profit margin. This market, driven by individual predictions and real money at stake, can sometimes identify discrepancies or anticipate outcomes that sportsbooks miss. It’s common to see differences in implied probabilities, with prediction markets sometimes being more accurate forecasters of event outcomes than traditional odds.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether both Elche and Celta Vigo will score. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, directly reflecting the collective probability assigned to the outcome. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders believe both teams will score, the price increases, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures the market constantly adjusts to new information and changing opinions.

This market resolves around Oct 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on whether both Elche and Celta Vigo score at least one goal during the match. Official match data will be used to determine if both teams found the back of the net. The final result will be based on the official game statistics, ensuring a clear and objective determination of the market’s outcome.

Several factors could influence this market before the match concludes. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Elche or Celta Vigo would likely have a significant impact. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions could also shift trader sentiment. Unexpected lineup announcements or pre-match analysis highlighting a team's attacking prowess or defensive weaknesses could further move the market. Ultimately, any information that alters perceptions of the likelihood of goals from either side will influence trading activity.
