Description

This market focuses on predicting whether either Edmonton or New Jersey will win the first period of their scheduled NHL game by a margin greater than 1.5 goals. The outcome depends solely on the performance of both teams within the first period of play.

Kalshi

The market resolves based on whether either Edmonton or New Jersey wins the first period by more than a 1.5 goal margin. If New Jersey achieves this margin, the 'New Jersey wins by over 1.5 goals' market resolves to Yes. Conversely, if Edmonton secures a win by more than 1.5 goals, the 'Edmonton wins by over 1.5 goals' market resolves to Yes. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the result still applies. If the game is cancelled or does not start within 48 hours, markets resolve to a fair price. Overtime in the third period is excluded from consideration for these markets.
