Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance their risk, incorporating a margin for profit, while this market allows traders to directly express their beliefs about the probability of each exact score. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by simultaneously betting on both platforms. However, it’s important to note that sportsbook odds are influenced by factors like public betting patterns and bookmaker risk management, potentially leading to differences in probabilities.
