On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more shares purchased for a particular outcome, the higher its price will climb, indicating increased confidence from the crowd. Conversely, increased selling pressure drives the price down. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds constantly adjust to incorporate new information and changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Dukhovenko vs. Reznychenko match, as reported by the governing sports body. The platform will verify the final result against these sources to determine which outcome is declared the winner. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be entitled to a payout based on the final market price at resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before Oct 24, 2026. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in coaching strategy, or even weather conditions could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected results in other matches involving either Dukhovenko or Reznychenko might also lead to reassessments of their relative strengths. Furthermore, significant betting activity – a large influx of volume on one particular outcome – could trigger a price movement as traders react to the perceived information driving that activity. Public opinion and analysis from sports commentators may also play a role.
