On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in whether a golfer will finish in the Top 20. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the price fluctuates, reflecting the collective assessment of the market participants. The market’s price is determined solely by supply and demand for these shares on Polymarket.
This market resolves around Oct 26, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final leaderboard for the Genesis Championship is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on the official results published by the DP World Tour, determining which golfers ultimately finished within the Top 20. The market will settle to 100% for any golfer who does finish in the Top 20, and 0% for those who do not. The final standings will be the definitive factor in determining the outcome of this market.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Player form leading up to the tournament – including recent performance and any reported injuries – will be closely watched. Weather conditions during the event can also play a crucial role, potentially favoring certain playing styles. Unexpected withdrawals of key players would undoubtedly cause shifts in the odds. Finally, any significant news or announcements related to the golfers themselves, such as changes in caddies or equipment, could also influence trading activity in this market.
