Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding a golfer’s health, form, or playing conditions—such as a reported injury, strong performance in a practice round, or unfavorable weather forecast—could shift the odds. Live performance during the first round of the Genesis Championship will be a major catalyst, as strong or weak showings will immediately influence traders’ perceptions. Unexpected withdrawals or changes in pairings could also cause movement in this market, as traders reassess the competitive landscape.
